LOST and FOUND is getting cleaned out!!!

If you or your child is missing a clothing item that might be in the lost and found, (bin in the cafeteria by the west outside door), please come and claim it! All items not claimed by the December 16^th, Wednesday, will be washed and used for DCIS at Fairmont children in need.

 

 

¡La Canasta de Perdido y encontrado limpiaran!

 Si usted o su hijo ha desaparecido una gorra, chamarra o chaqueta que podrían estar en la canasta de perdido y encontrado(esta en la cafetería junto a la puerta oeste exterior), por favor venga a reclamarlo! Todos los artículos que no sean reclamados por el 16 de Diciembre, Miércoles, se lavan y se utilizan para personas que necesitan en el DCIS at Fairmont.

News from the PTA - yes, our very first newsletter!

Christmas Tree Lot! Our second fundraiser of the year is underway! Trees, wreaths and garland are for sale at Broadway & Bayaud. The lot is open M-F from 4-7 and S-S from 10-7. All proceeds will support professional development for our staff and school yard beautification. Come buy a tree, tell your friends and family and volunteer to make this a success! SIGN-UP TO VOLUNTEER! NEWS & UPDATES $5,000 from Learn2Earn was given to each of the Specials: P.E., Art, Music, Language and Global Villages!

Monday, 12/7 Our next Dine Out night is this Monday, December 7 at Pizzeria Locale at 550 Broadway. Show this flyer and 50% of sales go to the PTA. We raised $432 at Chipotle last month! Funds support our teacher stipends. Tuesday, 1/12 The next PTA meeting is Tuesday, January 12 at 5:00pm. Childcare and pizza will be provided.  Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month (except in January). Join us!

Monarchs Take Action

The DCIS at Fairmont "Monarchs Take Action" committee is working on a service project to ensure every student at our school has a special holiday.  If you or your family are interested in taking a student or family in need "Under Your Monarch Wing" by purchasing a few gifts to make their holiday special, please see Ms. Slaymaker or Ms. Brinton or chose a "Monarchs Take Action" wish list from our tree with the student's requests. Gifts will need to be wrapped, tagged and returned by December 15^th to the school. Contact Ms. Slaymaker at 720 424-7680 or in person with questions.

El comité de DCIS en Fairmont "Monarcas Toman Acción" está trabajando en un proyecto de servicio para asegurar que todos los estudiantes de nuestra escuela tengan unas vacaciones especiales. Si usted o su familia está interesada en tomar un estudiante o una familia en necesidad "Bajo su ala de monarca" en comprar regalos para que las vacaciones sean especiales, por favor de pasar por la oficina de la Sra.
