Our tree lot is starting the second week today and we are having so much fun working! Our sales are doing great and the trees are finding their homes! We have the Christmas music ringing and kids selling their mini trees! Folks are making wreaths, trees are getting tied to the cars...it is a lot full of Holiday Cheer!!! El lote de arbolitos empieza su segunda semana y nos estamos divirtiendo muchísimo! Hemos vendido mucho, hay música navideña, algunos hacen coronas, otros amarran arboles a los carros...es un lote lleno del espíritu navideño! BUT...WE NEED YOUR HELP! | HACE FALTA SU AYUDA! Today, Sunday, Dec. 2nd, we are very short on help for the afternoon/evening shift.  We REALLY need some help from 3 pm - 7 pm tonight.  We need some muscle that can help lift and carry the trees, folks that are comfortable using a chainsaw and a tree drill, those that are comfortable with the sales side of things - visiting with our customers and explaining why we do the lot, running the card and cash transactions, as well as thanking them for their support. Personas fuertes que carguen arbolitos, personas que quieran usar una motosierra, que quieran vender y/o explicar la importancia de esta recaudación de fondos. Se necesitan especialmente hispanohablantes! If you have just 2 hours to swing by the lot today after 3 pm at 2nd and Broadway - we would be so grateful! It really is so much fun and when we are busy - the time flies by! Si tiene solamente 2 horas, pase por el lote en la 2nda con Broadway después de las tres. De veras es muy divertido y cuando hay mucha gente pasa rápido el tiempo. Dear PTA members,   Mire abajo para ver este mensaje en español.   Thank you so much for being a member for this Familia. We are so happy to be enjoying continued high energy at our PTA meetings, with 13 parents having attended November's evening PTA meeting. Four people attended the morning meeting on Wednesday, and we are excited to welcome more of you for whom Wednesday is more convenient.   Please find linked the minutes from the meetings. We will be approving them at the meeting next month. In the meantime, the tree lot is around the corner and we are so happy to invite you to participate! The trees are arriving on Friday November 23 and we are looking for some folks to help set up the space. Check out the Signup Genius link to sign up for shifts - we need your help! If you haven't volunteered yet this year, this is a perfect opportunity! It's only with each of our efforts that we build community and sustain an environment where our children and teachers can thrive.   Best,   Your DCIS PTA Team     Estimados miembros del PTA   Muchas gracias por formar parte de esta Familia DCIS.
