Dear DCIS at Fairmont Families,
Thank you for being a part of our school community. As we work toward the Denver Plan 2020 goal of Great Schools in Every Neighborhood, we want you to know that we hold ourselves accountable for the success of all of our students.
Last week, we learned the results of our school report card – called the School Performance Framework (SPF) – which is used to measure performance on our state test results and other key data. DPS uses the SPF as one of our primary tools for measuring our school’s performance.
We need to share with you that DCIS at Fairmont has been rated “Orange– Accredited on Probation”. DPS acknowledges that is a serious matter, and we are optimistic that this will be a temporary rating for our school. We have been analyzing our performance and have begun strategizing supports that can be implemented to rebuild DCIS at Fairmont academic status.
Please join us to learn more: | Date |
Community meeting to discuss the results of our School Performance Framework | Tuesday November 1st 8:30-9:30am and 5pm |
